Large Area Rugs
It is deemed that there are a lot of terms related to the large area rugs weaving. So, there are a lot terms being accepted and given stable definitions to the rugs in the groups of scientists and archeologists. The large area rugs are called all rugs that made with the help of the hands production and no matter whether they are wattled or fabric.
Their origin does not play the main role. Large area rugs are the rug of a hand making work, it can be characterized by the presence of webbing base, consist of thread of base and quill thread or any other knitting canvas besides it is made by hands.
The large area rugs that are made by hands can be considered as Orient rugs (wattled and/or fabric, milled with fur or without it). They are produced in the East countries. The geographical meaning “Orient” includes the countries where the territories related to the Minor Asia (Turkey) to Far East (China).
